Hello guys, I have a quick question about installing Windows on an SSD. I am installing w7 on an ssd from my current PC. I will be upgrading motherboard, CPU and moving from w7 on HDD to SSD when I get w7 on the ssd.

My question is, is it safe to install W7 on the SSD on my current motherboard even though I will be upgrading after? Since I'm changing motherboard and CPU will that affect the SSD? I will be installing w7 on that current motherboard, so will that affect my new motheboard and cpu?
I will be switching from AMD to Intel.

Thank You Guys for your Time.

Solution
If changing the motherboard and CPU, a fresh install after is generally recommended.

Sometimes it works, sometimes it doesn't.
Sometimes issues don't appear until later.

EDIT: Add in the moving to an SSD later? Clean install on the new hardware.

Thanks, I'll install the new motherboard and CPU first, then install w7 on the SSD.
