I have installed 16GB of ram but system properties read 14GB. Can anyone explain this to me please?
Slot 1: Hyper X Stick
Slot 2: Standard Stick
Slot 1: Hyper X Stick
Slot 2: Standard Stick

PSU: cOOLER mASTER 600 watts
Board: Gigabyte AMD 800fxa-ud5
Processor: AMD Phenom X6 1055t 1.8GHz (6 nucleous)
Video Card: Sapphire AMD Radeon 7950 3gb ddr3 384bits OC edition
Windows 7 Ultimate

What if I take out the standards sticks and only use the hyper x sticks, will it run better the PC?
I have AMD stock fan installed and is it normall it makes so much noise?
What is the normal temperature of a pc? Mine reads CPU: 51 HDD: 37 SYS: 52 I am normal room temp.

Most MBs can provide multiple CPU cooler fan speeds, yes. Are you using the stock cooler that came with the PhII X6? It looks like it is running full speed. And yes, at full speed the stock cooler is NOISY!. Set it to AUTO in BIOS if available. It shouldn't need to run that fast when idling or doing light tasks.

Windows uses some memory for itself, and the larger your Gfx card's VRAM the bigger the frame buffer needs to be (also uses system memory). Plus you may have some background pgms running that need to set aside some system memory. Task Manager/Performance/Resource monitor should show you where all the memory is used.

It's best for stability to use MATCHING sticks in dual channel memory systems. If one pair is different timing that the other pair, problems may arise.

Is this fan speed normal for my processor?

I read that Gigabyte MoBo can power save and helps improve the fan and temp. Is it true?
