Hello I am planning on upgrading my CPU, and ditching this horrible FM2 socket. I have a $300 budget and a 460W power supply. I will mainly be using this computer for gaming and already have RAM, a Radeon 7770, HDD and what not, all I need is advice on getting a upgrade from my A6-6400k and its motherboard.

A few Ideas I had where:

FX 8350, 750w power supply, and a cheap Micro ATX AM3+ motherboard. This Equals all 300

or

Intel Pentium Processor G3258, a R97 motherboard, and a Coolmaster 212.
With this I wounder about if the fan would be good enough for heavy OCing (4.8 ghz) or if getting a cheaper H81 series motherboard would be better due to the recent update with them allowing overclocking of some inlet processors. I would have $50-100 leftover based on the motherboard.

lastly

Intel Core i5-4670K, and a H81 motherboard. I would have around $20 leftover, but I am also worried my power supply will be too low for a i5.

All advice, suggestions, and comments are welcomed.
Thank you.

Solution
Upgrade to a i3 4150 and a msi H81m-p33
No need to upgrade the Psu.
If u Pick the g3258 which is a fine cpu u Will need a better psu for that overclocking. The i3 is the better choice :)

The one I have right now is a Coolmaster 460W, as for the actual model I am not sure. The 750W one I planned on was a Sentry (http://www.amazon.com/Erp750-pm-Certifications-Crossfire-Efficiency-Protection/dp/B00IZEYIRO/ref=sr_1_4?ie=UTF8&qid=1404954312&sr=8-4&keywords=750w+power+supply) .
