can i use a portable battery bank as a laptop battery?

my laptop battery is shot, the laptop wont detect it. but a new battery is $299, and its only 3800mah. a battery bank is on sale right now and if 28,000mah, can i use it instead of a normal battery? it plugs in just like the wall outlet would.

Hi, if you use the battery bank instead of your adapter, yes you can, if the voltage of the bank is the same as your adapter. But your adapter will give you a steady voltage, the battery bank will lower the voltage when in used. You will be safe if you used the adapter than the battery bank.
