I cannot seem to figure out what is up with this usb dongle. I have windows 8 and this thing constantly connects then disconnects. I dont have any clue what to do here. I know i had problems when i installed it, now it just doesnt want to stay connected. Under pc settings, it is saying driver error after the bar fills up. Repeat! Tried to download drivers, and it tells me that newer drivers are already installed, and have to cancel installation. Any ideas anyone??

Probably not enough power at the usb ports - - a very common issue with a very well-known fix that's no mystery, and that's to buy a mains-powered usb hub. Then plug your USB devices (other than keyboard/mouse) in to that.
