So I was playing games like I usually do on my PC then I restarted it because I hadn't restarted is in the past day or so... I come and see that it is at a black screen and won't go anywhere. I turn it off then power it on and it likerally go nowhere. I can here the CPU and GPU fans spinning but the Hard drive keeps turning on and off. I don't even get to the place where it prompts to go to the BIOS setting Like "press ESC to view BIOS setting"
I then made an AVG rescue disk and tryed putting it in the drive and nothing happened, i turned it on and off to see if that would force it to notice the DVD in the drive.
It didn't notice it and is still stuck at the Black screen

Solution
That's not a virus; that's a hardware problem. Not everything is a virus, ok?

Do you know how to reseat the RAM and the power connectors on your system board? If you do--do it. See if that helps.

Sorry it's been a while but finally got it to turn on my restoring my PC. How do I reset my RAM, because I have nailed it down to infected RAM which doesn't make since seeing as though it gets reset when you turn it off. But what lead me to thinking it was a virus was that I accidentally clicked on an add that downloaded and then my computer just stopped responding and eventually went black but remained on.

RAM cannot get infected. To reseat your RAM, you have to open the computer (take off the case screws on the side), find the RAM, pop the retaining clips to the side, pull the RAM out, and then push the RAM back in until the retaining clips lock into place.
