No advantage of getting more than 60fps on a 60hz monitor. What you should be asking is what GPU can run css @ 1024 x 768 without dipping below 55fps.

Frame dips make games feel slow, your overall experience will be based on how good your minimum frame rate is, keep it above 55fps or so in a 60hz screen, keep it above 100fps or more on a 144hz screen.
