I'm buying this motherboard for my new build that should be coming within a few days. I have seen some people have run into major issues installing the drivers when on Windows 8.1, and I want to know if I am going to have any issues in the future.

I need this PC to last me a long time but I am worried that it might break if I do something wrong. Thanks for the help in advance.

You should be fine with drivers. Windows will come with its own to start with. But you then should download and install them from the gigabyte website to make sure they're the latest. Same with your graphics card drivers.

Make sure you have a real good after market cpu cooler if you want to use this board for overclocking though.
