Hi
last night i was trying to change the resolution of my computer but ended up creating a huge problem.
http://tinypic.com/r/50nqfm/8
http://tinypic.com/r/beau7r/8

The highest resolution my comp supports is 1024x768(pic) http://tinypic.com/r/j8cmrm/8
http://tinypic.com/r/34hvy87/8

i have i3 3220 integrated graphics (Intel HD 2500).

Right now my comp's resolution is set at 1024x768 but as u can see in the pic it does't fill the whole screen of my monitor.

Guys i've tried restoring default settings at intel graphics options/properties but nothing changes

Thanks

You probably need to use the actual controls on the monitor itself. There should be buttons on it for the image geometry and position on the screen.

Basically, from what I can see, you need to increase the height, and maybe the width a little.
You may then need to adjust the position of the image so it's not off-centre.

the problem is that those buttons are not increasing the height, i've tried
isnt there something which can increase my screen's height from within the computer.

Thanks

Glad it worked. Sometimes the buttons don't always work first time on an old monitor (looks like an old CR tube monitor from your pic). You should consider replacing it with a modern LCD one, they all have flat screens much better viewing than an obsolete tube type.

Don't get a screen larger than 15-inch though (17-inch just possible) otherwise everything will look too big on it because your current graphics chip can't go any higher than 1024 x 768 resolution. Any larger than a 17-inch screen will require a new graphics card which has more VRAM to support higher resolutions.
