After all research and blowing out my old PSU (Odyssey 450Watt), i finally plans to buy Corsair SMPS CX500 500 Watts PSU.

My system specification:

6GB DDR2 Ram
Core 2 Quad Q6600 2.4Ghz Processor
Asus GTX 750 Ti (with a minimum 12V current rating of 20A)

OLD PSU:
Odyssey 450Watt Computer Power Supply SMPS

NEW Which i Planning to buy:

if it's not too old the current psu could work fine too. the 750ti doesnt need that much power.

edit: never mind, reread and saw the old one is toast. yes, the corsair will work ok.

Current PSU was 6 years old it works perfectly for Zotac 9400GT.
This Zotac card required same power supply as that of Asus GTX 750 Ti, but still Asus fails on current PSU.

Note: Asus GTX 750 Ti is 3 time more powerful than 9400 GT.

more powerful yes, but the the energy needed is about the same (60W versus 39W). check for a motherboard bios update too. if it's that old a new psu is very good idea. the corsair is ok
