hello everyone. I am building a pc and was wondering if anyone can give me some advice on my components choice.
cpu = Intel Core I5 4690 3.50Ghz
gpu = Gigabyte AMD Radeon R9 270X 2048Mb
hdd = western digital 1TB blue (can't change that)
ssd = Transcend SSD340 2.5 Inch Solid State Drive - 64GB
case = Corsair Carbide Series 200R Black
motherboard = Asrock Z97 Pro4
psu = Corsair 550W VS Series Power Supply
ram =Kingston HyperX Blu Series 8GB DDR3-1600Mhz

thanks :)

Solution
Hi DesMeyer
Be aware putting games on ssd will improve load and save times only and will not increase FPS ( Frames Per Second )
I would also switch the transcend for a better ssd like the samsung 840 evo or Mushkin Chronos if a tight budget
The corsair VS has low grade capacitors , go for a psu from seasonic/xfx or any psu from corasairs AX , HX or TX range of psu's
The rest looks good :)

okay, should i go for will go for the Seasonic M12II 80 Plus Bronze Modular Power Supply 520W, is that better? i cant find another 64 gb ssd because i live in south africa, and the product range is not nearly as big as America's. so the ssd has to stay unfortunately.

thanks so much for you advice. are you also South African? or what about the Corsair 60GB LS, is that a good, high performance SSD?
