Or GSkill 2133? - http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E168...

get the faster ram. to get it running, just enable xmp in bios. Easy Peasy and only a few bucks more than 1600

Yep - you can see that its nearly the same price as 1600 ram.

1.6V doesn't matter. I use 1.65V ram without problems. The lower the voltage, the less power they use. But all 1.6v rams have heat spreaders and lifetime guarantees.

Check with GSkill if you want. I did and they said they test all their ram at the rated voltage and speed.

1.50V is generally standard RAM. For performance RAM, it is always 1.60V-1.65V. Many people think the higher voltage is bad because Intel recommends standard 1.50V RAM, but most people building a system with aftermarket high end parts is not looking for standard RAM. So there is that confusion there, but rest assured <1.65V is perfectly fine. We have tested it with all platforms since DDR3 was released and this was never an issue.

We sell high performance RAM, so we guarantee RAM kits to run at high end specs that you see for each kit. Otherwise, if you go to a general tech store and look for plug and play RAM, you will only find DDR3-1333 CL9 or DDR3-1600 CL11 1.50V (standard) memory.

The 1866 sticks offer higher bandwidth, which can add a few FPS in gaming and overall better performance, especially when multi-tasking and using data centric apps....and yes 1.6-1.65 is perfectly safe, Intel even certifies such sticks
