I just got my second graphics card in my computer to put in crossfire and when im in BF4 my average fps is 40-60. My graphics cards are running at 50% sometimes less and my cpu is running at 100% constantly. I used to be able to run BF4 better than this without crossfire. My CPU is at 49c and GPUs and at around 55c. im just hoping that im not bottle necking the GPUs. Any ideas on how to fix this?

PC Specs:
FX-6300
Gigabyte 970A-DS3P
Sapphire R9 270x Dualx in CrossfireX
8gb ddr3
Corsair CX750M

Solution
Your CPU is weak for running R9 270X in crossfire. If it was just one single R9 270X, it will be fine. The motherboard is also the other weak link. It is not really a good board for crossfire.

cpu is running 100 % because of frostbite.the engine that battlefield uses.highly cpu intense.
your mother board had 2 pci extpess one runs at x 16 and the second runs at x4.the bandwidth is shared on the pci express lanes.so yes none of the cars should be running 100%.looks like everything is fine to me.

So its normal that the fps is significantly lower(10-20) when in crossfire vs not in crossfire?

when running 2 gpus as i mentioned before the bandwidth is slpited in half from x16 to x8 x8.
your motherboard has x16 and x4.if i am not mistaken the setup you have runs at x8 x4 so you have way lower preformance.

I will most likely end up getting the 4690 because im not interested in OC at all... z97 MOBO looks great!

your cpu should not bottleneck the gpu's your motherboard is the weak link here.a 8350 will just cost you more and if you plug it in the motherboard you currently have you will probably see minor difference if not any.the second pci express slot is the problem here its x4 your cpu is fine.even if there was a bottleneck it would be not noticeable.
i would recommend upgrading a motherboard with a x8 slot at least and keeping the current cpu and if you sense a bottleneck go ahead and then upgrade to a fx 8350.remember frostbite is cpu intense.

1. Have you enabled Mantle (in the game options, you have not stated it)
2. Lower some settings (texture) to make the working set fit within the GPU boards VRAM.

I got the 990fx killer. My cards now run at 80-99% And my CPU is at 75%. It was definitely the motherboard that was causing the issue. Thanks for the suggestions anyway!

No problem.
