So basically my old mobo shit the bed, completely died on me. I had the Msi z87 g45. My new z87 Asus gryfon came in today. Meanwhile waiting for it to ship to me I used my ssd that was in my comp and used it in my old build with no probs. anyway after getn the z97 in and everything hooked up the same as my z87 build I got into bio np. After I set my uefi to # 1 boot and put in os disc restarted came to screen telling me press any key to boot from disc I did so snd got nothing after that just blank screen. Do I need new copy of os? Somehow uninstall the old mobo drivers? Or do I need to do something else I'm bios ?

My ssd was hooked up with the new mobo would Microsoft really make you just stop in your tracks after trying to load os like that? Weird that it doesn't at least tell me something and if not connected to the internet how would they unlock anything for me
