Hi I've bought a used p8z68 and it came with bent pins. Some of them bet preeetty bad.
I tried to do a little fixing around and two of them broke. They were, like I said, really badly bent to begin with.
So, whatever I made sure every pin landed where they supposed to land and installed my processor.
It worked fine! no problems at all. Intel´s IPDT passes with no issues and everything looks normal.

Now the pins are:
AR9 - SB_DQ23 - BENT
K8 - PEG_TX11 - BENT
J7 - VCCIO - BROKEN
J6 - PEG_TX12 - BROKEN

Any ideas how badly this is? is my processor at risk?

Thanks!

Well, I'm sure you can google the pin assignments and uses as well as any other person. Good luck with that motherboard. Just don't do any computationally important stuff on it. :)

Well to be honest I'm not that worried about AR9 or K8. I'm pretty sure those land on the processor correctly even though their "shape" is not quite perfect.
I'm a little worried about the two missing ones. But if I won't damage the processor screw it then, I'll use it until it blows up.

I wonder if the missing VCCIO pin would affect some features of the processor like turbo speed control, or voltage regulation during turbo.. or something like that.
