Every time I want to cold-boot my PC I have to remove the CMOS battery, wait 30 seconds and then put it back in and then turn it on for a successful post. Then I have to press F1 to enter the BIOS and load defaults and then save and reset. My PC then functions perfectly until I switch off my PC and the switch at the wall or at the back of the PSU. I then have to repeat the CMOS reset process to boot. I tried booting without a CMOS battery and it boots perfectly everytime (except my time isn't saved). Anyone know what could be wrong? I think I might still qualify for warranty from Asus if it's the motherboard but I have no receipt so I don't know how that will go.
