Hello. i was planning to buy a graphics card to crossfire to the amd a10 785 i came across this ATI R7 250 on ebay and i have never seen this model in my life like it has the ati logo on it but here is the link: http://www.ebay.com/itm/New-ATI-R7-250-HDMI-1GB-GDDR5-1... so the question is should i trust this seller or are they trying to rip me off in a fake graphics card? Thanks!

No, and you can get a legit r7 250 for that price.

It's legit, the pictures are even taken by the seller who was a lot of positive feedback. Always be careful on ebay though.

The seller's whole inventory is fake GPUs. Not one legit card in the bunch. Also seller is based in China.

I'm with bccorrupt, those cards look pretty sketchy. I really don't recommend buying used/ebay/off brand PC parts. They are absolutely impossible to assess the quality of via pictures.

If my close friend was trying to get rid of a part and I had the opportunity to personally test it, that is a different story.

Looks too good, it probably is, ESPECIALLY with used PC parts.

Fake branding doesn't necessarily imply a fake card, but I see your point. I was definitely in the wrong.

ATI does not exist anymore. AMD bought them out years ago and since then all GPUs have been AMD branded. If it says ATI and it is supposedly from this generation of cards, it ain't legit.

PLUS,
none of those are reference designs. If they had the logo for the actual gpu manufacturer, then they would come with reference heatsinks.
