Hey guys, I have the following components:

Intel i5 4570
Gigabyte h81 ms1 motherboard
8 gb kingston 1600 ram
Corsair vs550 power supply
R9 270x graphic card

I am experiencing jagged lines in most of my games like crysis 3 and battlefield 3, the graphics and fps are awesome but I can see the annoying jagged lines on staircases or buildings even with msaa8x on..i remember that i could never notice such lines on my previous card hd7750 even with lower AA settings..I really don't know what the problem could be, could anyone help me troubleshoot please? I have tried changing drivers from 14.4 to 14.6 beta but there has been no difference..

Do you have post process AA on? it will make the games blurrier but get rid of most jagged lines, also what resolution are you running? go to your card control panel see if anything is over riding the ingame settings.

How to turn on post process AA? I'm playing at 1360x768 which my monitor supports..though changing to 1080p doesn't remove the jagged lines entirely. But I wanna know is this problem at my end? I mean something wrong with the hardware or PSU? Coz I have put together a new system..

Don't use the 1080p resolution since the monitor doesn't support it, on the game settings there should be an option at least on BF3 that it says anti-aliasing post, turn it on see if that helps.

Oh sorry I meant bf4 but well I ended it..it wasn't so bad but still there were lot of jagged edges and lines which I'm pretty sure aren't there in the game..even my gun is slightly affected by those jagged edges..with highest msaa possible..could it be any faulty connection inside my case? Or PSU fault?

Guys I really need help, I can't get rid of these jagged lines and shimmering lines. It appears as if my gpu is unable to perform anti aliasing on far away objects and hence I see all shimmering lines and edges at distance. Up close the lines seem to diminish a bit..could it be possible because of my tv that I'm using?
