This is my first build and my budget is around $1,000-1,200 (give or take $100). It is my only computer and I will be using it for Gaming, web browsing, and light editing in Photoshop. Games I play atm is probably not considered very intensive (D3, CS:GO, BF4) but you never know down the line. As is the case, I probably will not be building another or upgrading it for at least a few years. I would want to build it within 2 weeks or so.

Here is what I have so far: http://pcpartpicker.com/user/KNGOFQNS/saved/QdrYcf

What I still need: Major: GPU, Minor: Monitor and Keyboard (i have old ones to use and can be upgraded later if needed)

Im mainly stuck on the GPU. Nvidia or AMD? If possible please offer an "or" scenario involving either a Nvidia and an AMD.

Also, I have Microcenters near me and currently my i7 4790k CPU and MSI mobo combo is $400, a possibility is downgrading it to a i5 4690k and MSI mobo for a saving of $120. (Honestly, chose the mobo based on color and $$, if you feel it is not on par, suggest one from the combo deals at Microcenter)

Any help is appreciated.

I personally have like AMD/(ATI) cards. The R280X would work very well with that setup.

Monitor is personal preference honestly, and you can wait on a keyboard and mouse until you have the cash to get something you want. Build your PC first, then add peripherals later

I would do this option : i5 4690k and MSI mobo for a saving of $120

BF4 is an intensive game :)

btw if you live in US, AMD gpu is now very cheap. (there is not yet any price cut from NVIDIA )

you can get Radeon 280X as low as $250 and Asus Radeon 290 4GB at $350
