Well Logitech isn't helping me any more because it's not the products fault. The c920 HD webcam.

I have plugged it into my computer, windows does the usual update to install the UVC drivers and the webcam doesn't work. I have tried it in clean boot and there was no errors doing so.

The webcam works in my family's REALLY old Dell laptop using UVC but for some reason doesn't work in my PC. I have tried going into device manager and manually updating imaging, sound and USB to both Logitech and Microsoft drivers, There is no exclamation marks to show a fault.

I'm honestly stumped as to what could be the problem. This is a custom built PC and I have updated the USB drivers from ASUS's website. I have :

Win 7 Pro SP1 64 bit
ASUS Maximus VI EXTREME Mobo

I have a feeling I may be missing some crucial file for allowing webcam support maybe?? I have a feeling another webcam wont work at all if I get my hands on one.

Any help would be greatly appreciated. I only have about 28 days left to send the product back :/

Been a few months now :/

"Can't start video.
Try closing other programs that might be using your webcam"
