So, with some help I've got to this build. Before taking the plunge i'd like a double check to see if there are any glaring mistakes or potential improvements? My cap is £1000.. but I'd like to keep slightly below to for P&P and buying Windows7Pro for the full price (that £36 deal looks to good to be true).

To save on price I'd also like to strip out my Advent CBE1401 Centurion case, is this a wise idea? i.e will everything fit in it? It's labelled as a mid-tower.

Thanks

If you click on the PSU itself, scroll down and you will see the rail rating 12v1@20A etc etc. You want a PSU that has rail rated at above 42A per rail. Usually that high you need a single rail 750w PSU. You can get high multi rail but the PSU will be like 1000w or higher. The one i linked is single rail at 60A

The CX series from Corsair havent had the best track record. The higher end ones are ok(AX,HX,TX) The XFX non-modular version of the one i linked is the same price. The modular one I linked is only like 5$ more.
