Is it just me or is this pre-built PC actually worth buying?

Solution

Not to mention the junk Raidmax case at that. In short - there's really no pre builts that are better than what you can get if you build yourself.

Its ugly though. No prebuilt will ever match a 600T or a 900D or NZXT Phantom.

True but if you have a small budget you got to compromise somewhere. Although I just switched from a Corsair 600T to an NZXT H440 - I like the H440 much better.

This is what you could get on that budget:

No operating system, and you never know what power-supplies they use. Still, not bad.

Oh wait, they have it at the very bottom, CX600, not great, but not bad either.

Looks like they are making approximately £80 off of the buyer. Of course they buy in bulk.

Will the PSU do? I mean I had a pretty much identical build with an operating system and it's roughly the same price so i'm just wondering if I should just buy this because its easier then having to build it.

The price looks fair in us dollars. It would cost at least 300 for the motherboard and cpu and 250 for the gpu. That alone would be 404 euros. The real cost would be 750 us dollars. I think it is fair at that price.

The NZXT h440 is nice. It's a litttle too boxy for my taste, but hey, slap a reference 780 and some white LEDs and I'll come running for it like a black man on a treadmill with fried chicken hanging from a pole. Oops jacked the thread, looks like I'm done here!

G-Unit has the best solution though if you switch the board to a Z97 chipset and a corsair TX 650 PSU. Just incase you want to get yourself an i5 4690K down the line and maybe a better GPU. You get what you pay for brother.
