I am planning on getting a new PC case (NZXT Phantom 410). At the front of the case I have the option of having 2 120mm or just 1 140mm. The noise level won't bother me as I will be using headsets majority of the time, I just want to know what option would give me the best airflow.

Solution
120mm fan = rotates faster, is noisier.
140mm fan = larger surface area so rotates slower cutting down on noise, shifts just as much air as a 120mm fan.

A single 120mm or 140mm shift the same amount of air, so having an additional 120mm fan will shift twice more air, at the expense of noise. As your not bothered about noise, 2x 120mm will offer the highest airflow.

The quality of the fan does also effect how much air they can shift.
