Has anyone switched from a h100i to Kraken X60 or 61 and noticed a huge difference?

I have an h100i and it is not doing the job nearly as well as I expected. I have an overclock of 4.4 with a fairly low voltage of 1.184. However, after 30 minutes of Prime 95 it got up to 82c as its max. This is my second h100i as I RMA'd the first one and I have reseated the thing about 5 times with artic silver 5. I have put washers on the backplate which actually did help drop the temperature about 7c. Yet I am still not getting the 60-65c max I seem to see around the internet with these coolers. I don't know if I just got a bad one (twice in a row) or if anyone got fed up with theirs too and tried a Kraken X61 which I am thinking about trying. Since I feel like my chip has potential since it seems to overclock at a low voltage.

Also I am using a MSI z87-45 mobo and its an i5 4670k.

Well the truth is the H100i isn't your problem unless you are doing something horribly wrong. You got a hot running 4670K. Most do run hot. Some hotter than others.

I have a feeling the only way you are going to reduce temperatures is *cringe* de-lid your 4670K, or get a 4690K etc.

The H100i is one of, if not the best CPU coolers available.
