Are Be Quiet! PSU's a good brand?

Apparently a PSU with a good brand is very important and to me Be Quiet! Seems to be reliable enough like corsair and other similar brands but I want confirmation of this. Thanks.

It really depends on the unit. The vast majority of the units they have ever made are poor quality HEC built units. They have some newer Seasonic built ones and a few good new FSP built units, but the vast majority of their non-80+ gold units are bad.

There are definitely better options out there, post where you can buy from.

The PSU is the Be Quiet! 430W/530W Pure Power L8 (the 530W is on sale at one website so I might pick that one up instead but I'm more focused on the 430W version). Be Quiet! Interested me as it's almost silent and relatively cheap as well as it being semi modular.

Have you got any recommendations for a silent/quiet PSU for around £50 (pounds not dollars). If not then I may buy the Corsair RM 450W instead but I'd rather stick to my budget of £50-£55 for my PSY.
