Intel Core i3-4150 3.5GHz or AMD FX-6300 3.5GHz?

It will go with this build:
ASRock H81M-VG4/ASRock 960GM-VGS3 FX
Kingston HyperX Fury 2×4GB DDR3 1600MHz
XFX Radeon R9 270 2GB GDDR5
Zalman Z3
Western Digital Caviar Blue 1TB
XFX Core Edition PRO450W
Windows 8.1 Update

As far as I know, Intel Core i3-4150 3.5GHz has a MUCH better single-core performance, but it has less cores (2 cores, 4 threads) but hyperthreading helps alot in performance and it makes it like a quad core CPU. I'm going to play Battlefield and Counter-Strike games with 64 players at 1080p, so does a better single thread performance help alot more in servers with lots of action and players than AMD's FX 6300? Please respond, thanks.

They're almost exactly equal in benchmarks. Go with whichever you think would give you the socket you want for upgrading later on. Also the 6300 can be overclocked, but the i3 uses less power if either of those things interest you.
