I was wondering the difference between the Asus VI hero and VII Hero.

Can anyone please explain the difference in performance and your opinion on upgrading.
I may also be building a new system (For my brother) and was wondering if it was worth the extra £20.

My current system has I5-4670k, however the new system will be I5-4590k.

Solution
If you have VI, no compelling reason to change to VII.
If you are buying new, whatever the price difference is, it will be small and Z97 gives you future upgrade options.
Also, Z97 has been designed for overclocking devils canyon cpu's.
Support for DC on Z87 motherboards is a retrofit to the bios and may not be quite as effective.

OFC i have seen that, however the only difference i have noticed is keybot and a few sound features.

However as you have evidently read through that im hoping you can tell me the "performance" upgrades. Also what your opinion is on upgrading......
