Hello,

First, sorry for my english if i do some mistakes, english is not my mother tongue.

I bought some componentes 4 days ago, this ones:

- Mobo Asrock 970 Extreme3 R.2
- CPU AMD FX 6300
- coolermaster 212 EVO
- 2X4GB GSKILL DDR3 1600 MHZ Ripjaws CL7 8 8 24

I used the rest of the componets that i had and i know that they worked perfectly with my other mobo, cpu, etc, are this ones:

- GPU 7770 HD
- Hard Disk WD Caviar Blue 500GB
- LG DVD/CD Rewritable
- PSU BeQuiet L7 300W

Well, after installing all the components, I proceed with the instalation of the OS, I didnt have windows 7 because I have to buy it, so I installed my old Windows XP.

I didnt have any trouble with the instalation of XP, the dvd/cd drive worked perfectly.

After that I inserted the DVD from the asrock motherboard with all the drivers, once it started to install the ALL in 1 AMD Driver the pc freezes and reboot, i tried it many many times and all the time the same.

I tried another CDs and DVDs and nothing happends, all is ok.

I used Prime95 and all is ok.

I thought that it could be the PSU but it doesn make sence, the psu has a good quality and the pc just reboot until now with one dvd. but is weird because it is the drivers dvd, so it cant be a virus.

I apreciate your help.

I did like that, I could install the drivers with no problems, so no idea about whats wrong with that cd.

But... I got the Windows 7, i am using it in evaluation mode. I installed with no problems, but once all is instaled I started to use the system and... mozilla firefox just get freeze for a few seconds sometimes, that didnt happend until now with chrome but instead it got shut down once.... so i dont know what to think about my build.....

There is not a big failure in my system, but it doesnt work like it suppose to, this didnt happend with my old X2 CPU and cheap mobo... in my new pc I can play games like i couldnt before, but... the general use of the pc is not good, this freeze thing is really annoying....

What do you thing about this?? where is the problem?

I am thinking about to try to change the CPU+Mobo+Memory and get a i5 instead with an asus mobo. I dont know if is possible because i used thermal paste.

Thanks

Well..... after try many things and finding no solution I decided to send all back to the shop and i will buy another computer. I think that the problem could be in the motherboard, so this time I will avoid asrock, I will go with Asus I think.

Thanks for your time
