need help building a new pc

hello im looking to build a new pc so far i have the video card and the power supply as well as the case hard drive and dvd drive so what i need is a mother board cpu and min 4 gigs of memory. my budget is 250$ would like a cpu that can play resident evil 5 and 6 with decent frame rates so please if possible post links for me i have no clue what to buy

At that price I'd go with this. Solid Z97 motherboard that's on sale, 2x4GB of 1866 ddr3 ram, and a new unlocked pentium. Later on you'll already have the perfect board and ram to drop in an unlocked i5. BTW, that unlocked pentium overclocks to about 4.5Ghz and overclocked can hang with an i3, FX-4200, or 760k.

It wasn't a choice on pcpartpicker, but I would personally go with this ram. There isn't a big performance increase over about 1600mhz, but it's the same price and the board will support 2400mhz, so might as well.
