I just bought a new PC from Ironside Computers, and it came in on Tuesday. I have been having odd crashing issues, where there is no BSOD, the screen freezes, and there is an odd buzzing noise. Other times, the crash is just a reboot in the middle of the game. What could be causing this?

System Specs:
OS: Windows 8.1
GPU: Nvidia Geforce GTX 760
RAM: G-Skill 8GB, 1x
CPU: AMD Athlon X4 750K Quad Core
Motherboard: Asrock FM2A55M-VG3+
PSU: Kingwin ABT-650MM
HDD: Toshiba 1TB

Solution
-most often the error you indicated will be caused by a deadlock in the driver for the video card.
(update graphics drivers, maybe disable unused high def audio devices in control panel)

- a reboot of your system while running a 3d game should be a problem with the power being supplied to the graphics processor.
check the extra power connection that goes directly from the power supply to the graphics card. (make sure it is connected, otherwise the card will attempt to pull all the power directly from the motherboard and cause the power to the CPU to drop and the CPU will reset)

most of the time, on a new machine you just have a bad connection that you have to reseat.

Great. So my power supply is really low rated. Where do I go from here? I contacted Ironside, but they are closed over the weekend. Should I try to get a new one from them or buy myself a new one?
