Would you take a used GTX 660 OC for $100?

And by "would you" I mean "should I"

Especially if all you have now is a 460?

It's been used for a year, and I don't know if the OverClocked branding would have lessened its lifetime.

It won't have the protections of Ebay or being a local exchange, but we have been in the same clan for a couple years, so I wouldn't expect for him to bamboozle me.

Or should I keep saving money for something better?

$100 is a great deal and a big upgrade over your current card. Why not do it? I know $100 is a lot of money, but it's still enough where you're not risking all that much in the end.

Other than mining cards that are run 24x7, cards burning out due to regular overclocking is really an overstated thing. Particularly if it is an "OC' card that was run at its factory OC. Those cards have specially binned/selected/tested GPUs that are chosen exactly because they can withstand an extended overclock over the lifetime of the card.
