Hi everyone! It looks like my motherboard (Asus P6T LGA 1366) died for no apparent reason a few days ago. I was hoping it'd be something else, but unfortunately, after testing all other components everything else is fine. I tried looking for a new LGA 1366 board, but it looks like that those are gone. What would you suggest i get? I'd need a new mobo, cpu and ram. I don't want to spend a lot. I was kind of happy with what i had.
Here is the system:

Asus P6T
Intel i7 920
Gskill 1600 6 gb
Radeon HD 4870
Silverstone ST70F

What would be a reasonable and not very costly replacement of the components to get back up and running? Thanks for any input!

Solution
For all purpose use would go 4690K with the Fatal1ty Z97 Killer, GSkill 2x4GB 1600/9 DRAM (F3-12800CL9D-8GBXL) and a Hyper 212 EVO CPU cooler - right at $500

Could prob initially just go with a CPU and mobo, then upgrade DRAM down the road, should be able to use current DRAM in most any newer combo (prob end up as 4GB in dual and the odd 2 running in single channel mode on an Intel combo). Budget would determine best options

Thanks for your reply! I've been away from the game for too long. I built my previous system around 5 years ago. Now, looking at all the new Cpu's and Mobos is a bit confusing. I'd say i could spend around $400-$500 on Cpu, Mobo and Ram. Would you be so generous to suggest a few components? Thanks!
