I want to build a gaming computer and I was wondering which of these two CPUs is best. There is a ten dollar price difference between the two (the 5800K is more expensive), and I plan on using this computer to play games (like Killing Floor, Orion: Dino Horde, Nether, and The Forest) and edit gameplay videos in a program called VideoPad.
However, I also want to be able to upgrade to a better graphics card in the future (specifically the R9 270X or something similar). So, which one is better for me is based on three main points: CPU power for video editing, gaming power, and the amount of bottleneck it has with another video card. So far, I haven't dug up much information about these points and the differences between the processors, or if any differences are just negligible. Thanks for your help!
