People should know by now that the FX8350 is NOT a real octa-core processor, think of it as some kind of phisical hyper threading.
Not to mention the cores performance is a lot weaker compared to the i5.
Also a gen3 i5 costs around the same as an FX83xx, but i5 needs more than 50% less power, thus it runs cooler while giving more power.
So just go with the i5.
