Hello, I really need help upgrading my computer to be able to play games like watch dogs or similar titles in 1080p resolution. My current gaming ring has the following components:
Intel core I5 2500K
8GB ram 1333mhz
Superclocked Nvidia Geforce 560GTX
800 watt power supply
128Gb SDD and 1TB HDD
My PSU is extreme gear ATX-CB800W
MOBO Gigabyte GA-Z68MA-D2H-B3
I think I should buy liquid cooler and overclock my cpu to 4.2GHZ instead of buying new cpu.
Second part I plan to buy is video card Radeon R9 290 with 4GB RAM.
Third part is G.SKILL Ripjaws X Series 16GB (4 x 4GB) 240-Pin DDR3 SDRAM DDR3 1600.
Would those components improve my fps in watch dogs significantly or can you recommend something else ? Below are the links to those parts that I want to buy. Ohh and thank you, any help will be greatly appreciated.

should do the trick i would go for either faster ram again or stick with what you have. the ram wont make to much of a difference. a GPU will be your best upgrade. i went from 2 560ti's to a 780 and there is a lot of difference. i think a decent cooler either water or air and a good overclock will get you out of upgrading your cpu. all you need is a new card and it will run alot better

Your i5 is OK. What mobo is it on?
Just use a Coolermaster hyper 212 evo to cool it

What psu make and model?

get 2 x 4gb 1866 1.5, cl9 ram

The 290 would be fine.

Alright, a few things. First the RAM is not needed. You won't notice any change to how your computer works, how fast it works, or any performance increase in games. I thought having a lot of RAM would help more than it does, so I put 16GB in my desktop. I use MSI Afterburner to monitor RAM usage constantly while I play games, and I use task manager when not playing games to check it occasionally. While playing games I have never seen it go above 5GB of usage. Except while extracting and compressing files I have never seen it go above 4GB for any other reason either. So you might as well leave the RAM alone.

The graphics card upgrade will probably help quite a bit, that is a very fast card and has a good jump, but for the CPU I am unsure what your end results will be. Watch Dogs has become infamous for being horribly optimized. It uses a ton of CPU power and is heavily threaded. Overclocking your CPU will probably help, but honestly you would be better off going for an i7-3770k CPU upgrade instead. The hyper-threading will boost performance more than your overclock would.

If you do decide to overclock either, you are best not to get a closed-loop liquid cooling system. You can get one of Phanteks high end coolers, which are cheaper than water coolers quite a bit, and perform similar. Their top model out performed most closed-loop water coolers, and I personally use their 2nd best model which outperforms several also. Its a better solution if your case is big enough to fit it.

I agree with the cpu cooler i run a 140mm noctua and its awsome my temps are always under 70 with no issues and i dont have the risk of a faulty cooler leaking. (very unlikeley but it has happened where people have damaged the hoses when tinkering) either get a decent water cooler or get a top quality air cooler as big as you can fit in your case
