I bought an enclosure for the HD however the imac wont recognize it. All the Mac shows is "system reserved" I know i have to formart to FAT32 but i dont want to loose any of the files on the PC HD.
The PC no longer boots up. How can i get my files from the PC HD? to the mac HD and use the PC HD as a secondary HD
thank you

I take it the drive was formatted as NTFS since the iMac won't recognize it. Is that correct? If it is an NTFS drive you can try one of the following:
Tuxera NTFS for Mac
Paragon NTFS for Mac
Fuse for OS X

If the option is available you could, after recovering your files, format the drive using the exFAT option. This would allow you to write files to the drive that are larger than 4GB.
