Hi! I am a first time builder and I've done some research. Here's the list of the parts:
Processor: intel i7-4790k
Video Card: GIGABYTE gv-n78tghz-3gd
RAM: Corsair Vengeance 16gb CMZ16GX3M2A1866C10R
Motherboard: ASUS Maximus vii HERO
Hard disk: Seagate SSHD
Optical drive: Asus DRW-24B3ST
Case: Corsair Graphite 760T

I just want to know if this thing will work with all this stuff, as you can see I'm a newbie and don't know if things like ram is compatible with motherboard.

I am alsi thinking of buying a 650W power supply.

What you guys think? Thanks. :)

Solution
Quite good selection, here are some suggestions:

1) Get a decent aftermarket CPU cooler, like Cooler Master Hyper 212X
2) You dont need 16GB, get 8 (2x4)

--> like this one:

http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16820233144

3) Instead of an SSHD, get 1 regular HDD (like WD blue 1TB) + 1 regular SSD (at least 128GB, samsung 840 EVO is a popular pick). Much better performance.
4) For PSU, get XFX Core 650W, Seasonic 650W, Antec, PC Power and Cooling, Rosewill... 650W+

I was thinking of buying 2 separate hard disk but don't know which one so I decided to go to SSHD cause it sounds good.

So I don't have to worry about the ram? I mean , I've read about something to consider about but RAM and motherboard but never really underatood it.

It sounds good, but is not so, at least not for desktops. Get WD blue 1 TB for HDD, and Samsung 840 EVO (at least 128GB, preferably 256GB) for your system SSD drive.

No worries about the RAM, mate. Just get a certified dual channel kit of 2x4 GB, the one I recommended above will be good.
