Get Q6600 - this is a capable CPU, even today. Can easily be overclocked to 3 GHz.

Your power supply might need an upgrade, though. It is likely old, and increasing load by 50W more will certainly not be a good idea. A good pick is XFX Core 450W if you can get one. And pretty much any Seasonic.

Please tell which CPU are you using now, Q6600 can use approx 100W under max load, so we can then calculate the difference.

As for e6600 and e6700, these are dual cores, and I don't recommend getting any of those, at least not for gaming. If that's why you are getting a new cpu in the first place.
