Hi all!
Ok so I just spent a stupid amount of money on a pre built PC. This one to be exact :

Now I've just got it today and turned it on.. all going well
the monitor wont arrive until Monday so for now I am using my tv as a monitor through HDMI.
My Problem : screen works when I plug the HDMI into the Motherboard port. but screen doesn't register anything when I try to connect the monitor via the Graphics card HDMI ports, Its just black.. nothing. Can anyone explain to me how to fix this? I know this is a really stupid question and I feel stupid for asking but any advice would be appreciated.. cheers.
If it helps.. its not actually plugged into the tv directly.. rather through a hi fi system which is connected to the tv.
