Hello everyone, im looking at getting a custom built gaming pc in the near future and im planning out what i want to get. My price range is probably up to $2,000.

Basically i want:

16gb Memory
Geforce GTX 770 GPU
Intel Core i7
120-128gb SSD for the os (windows 8.1)
1tb HDD
and then theres cooling, the case and the motherboard and whatnot.
Im not gonna worry about getting new monitors, mouse, keyboards etc.

Im wondering, with my price range if i could get a similar setup to what ive listed.

Thank you :D

With the gtx 770 it depends whether you want the 4gb version or the 2gb version, Also prices vary where you live so this is not accurate.

16gb memory ~200 dollars (approx.)
gtx 770 2gb ~ 320-360 dollars (approx.)

(depends which i7, you did not mention this)
i7- 3770 (non-k) ~363 (approx.)

128gb ssd, I just brought a crucial one for 84 dollars (approx.)

1tb HDD about ~100 (approx.)

The cooling depends on what case you get, and motherboard prices vary alot.

Windows 8 would be around 100 dollars.

All up not including case+mobo= 1187 dollars.

If the mobo is about 160 dollars then that would still be $1347

You are still under the budget. I would recommend you actually look up these prices at a local store or online to your country...

These are based off the Australian pc market, But should be close to the US market.

edit: Also would I recommend a motherboard with 2x 16x 3.0 slots. So you are able to SLI 2 770's perhaps in the future. Also with that budget you could go a 780.

Also with the above pricing, the one there is the i7 3770 (non k) meaning you won't be able to overclock it at all.
You can buy the K version for a little more which will allow more performance if you overclock your cpu.
