Will the i5 3570K be enough for these upcoming games?

Hi,

I want to buy a 3570k (used) and I was wondering if it will be able to run true next gen games? Not ported games from the last gen. I was thinking about Batman Arkham knight, AC Unity, GTA 5 remake, Far Cry 4, The divsion and so on.

I will not overclock the 3570k and I plan to keep it for atleast a year and want to run every game on atleast high/very high. I will probably upgrade to Broadwell in the summer of 2015.

and same for the i5 4570? I can get a new one instead of the usd 3570k.

I am running a 7950 2gb in my system btw.

Processing power on PCs has been stagnating for the past 3-4 years, improving on average by only ~7% per year so unless you buy something very low-end, there won't be anything significantly better to upgrade to any time soon. At current progress rates, an i5-3570k should remain viable for most people for another 5+ years even without overclock.
