Hello.

I have an old power supply that I'm looking to replace, however I'm not sure if this new one I'm looking at buying will work with my current motherboard and fit in my case. I'm currently in the process of updating my machine, but due to a limited budget I can only get one part right now so I picked the PSU.

My OLD power supply: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16817182069
My NEW power supply: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16817139010
My motherboard: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16813128519
My PC case: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16811147153

The motherboard says it has an 8pin ATX12V connector, however the new PSU says it has an 8 pin EPS12V connector not an ATX12V. The new PSU says "Type: ATX12V 2.3 / EPS12V 2.91", so I'm a bit confused here. Will this new PSU work with my current motherboard, and will it fit in the case I linked?

I can provide more information about my machine if needed.

Thanks.

Hi - Yes, it'll work fine. EPS is a more current term, but the EPS 8 pin connector will work fine and
can only be inserted correctly. Just be careful not to mix the 8pin EPS with the 8pin PCIE.
