So i have an OEM P5K VM p3-p5g33 from an ASUS pc an i would like to flash a normal Asus p5k-vm bios,so i'm hoping that would alow me to exploit the overclocking options that the normal p5k-vm provides, but when i try flashing it via bios using EZ flash from a USB stick it doesn't alow me to(i downloaded the latest P5K -vm bios from the ASUS site)
how can i force flash it?

it's basically the same just that the one i have is an OEM tuned down version and i expect the only difference being the BIOS

you end up with a bricked board is anything is different. really not worth the risk...

(disclaimer - I WOULD NOT DO THIS)
if you point the bios ezflash to the new bios file (make sure you unpack the archive) it should detect that it's not quite what it needs and ask for confirmation before trying to write it up... be sure to use a fat32 formatted flash drive
