Hi guys,
I have Windows 8.1 Pro with Update 1 x64 on my Lenovo Ideapad Z500. Windows reports that there are PC issues regarding Bluetooth, Power management, Card reader and now Graphics driver.

It says that these drivers stopped working and suggest me to download an update from ASUTEK website!!!

I was just gaming and I exited the game and I just pointed to the white flag icon and it said "Solve PC issues: 5 messages".
there's not much wrong with the laptop but why is it asking me to download the update from ASUS???

Please help me. Thanks.

Virtually anything you see from the "white flag" you can ignore unless it's something about your AV program not being enabled or something of that general nature. Why you would be directed to the ASUS website for a Lenovo system is a bit of a mystery unless you maybe have an aftermarket ASUS Bluetooth adapter or something.

But the long and short of it is, if everything is working to your satisfaction with the system, ignore that message. I just configure the notification area (frequently incorrectly called the system tray) to hide that particular icon and its messages. It's called the Action Center in Windows 8 and it has had various other names down through the line of Windows to at least XP which is the first release I recall having that particular "feature". Like many things from MS, it's a decent idea just executed so badly it's jaw dropping.

Alright. But now, I've got into a situation. None of the icons that used to load while Windows starts isn't loading now.
Seriously, I can't properly use my touchpad. No Energy Mgmnt., nothing....

I called up Lenovo for a hard drive problem a couple of days ago. The person on the other side asked me to disable all the services and restart. That resulted in a BSOD. After that, I re-enabled the services and now Windows takes 5 minutes to fully load up.
I've almost had enough of laptops now.
