Could you please tell me the exact steps on how to install the OS from right when you first boot your custom PC. Step-by-step instructions would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!

Solution
It's like you would install it to a normal computer :p
1. Put the CD in (IF you are installing from a usb stick or such, you need to set it up from bios to boot from stick)
2. Follow the instructions given, they are very simple.
3. Wait for the installation to complete (the computer may reboot a couple of times)
4. DONE !

Also id suggest unplugging your hdd when you install OS on ssd (if using one) as it creates a partition and if only the ssd is plugged up then everything is created there (saving problems with recovery later down the line)

On the first boot, doesn't the PC screen go right to the BIOS? That is where it gets confusing.

It shouldnt boot straight to bios, check in bios whether its set to boot from cd drive etc- if you want it to boot from ssd or hdd then set that as drive 0 and save and close, it should boot from the selected place after that. Might just need a few tweaks in the bios

Put disk in and run install- if you wanna save to ssd then remove the hdd power plug for this or if you wanna install on hdd then obviously keep plugged in, go into bios and check boot order. Whichever drive you want to select for your OS (ssd/hdd) make sure that that is the priority. On your mobo you will have SATA slots, say 0-6. Plug the ssd/hdd you want to install the OS on in slot 0 and secondary in slot 1-save settings and the OS will boot from your selected driver, it will then install to the selected driver and the boot will direct straight to that
