Nvidia Graphics Card Problem

So I've spent hours trying to figure this out and have gotten nowhere.

I built my computer a few months ago, and at first everything worked fine, but all of a sudden my graphics card switched off or something, the on board processor is the default and I can't switch it back. I have updated all of the drivers for the card, my motherboard, windows, etc., anything I could think of. I can see the card in device manager, and everything can find the card perfectly fine ... except for dxdiag and Nvidia control panel. Funnily enough, GEForce Experience can find the card just fine, but can't do anything about my problem.

The only thing I haven't tried is looking into the BIOS ... because that isn't working either. I get a blank screen before Windows opens (which runs perfectly fine). I tried hitting buttons while the screen was blank to get into BIOS, but all it did was keep Windows from booting (I never got anything on the screen).

I'm using a GeForce GTX 780, Intel i5 4670k CPU, Intel Z87 Motherboard. I keep thinking maybe I did something wrong when I built it but it has just now started to not work.

Any help would be very appreciated!

You could try updating the bios. That sounds like both of your problems to me.
