Hello, I have an asus n56vz laptop and I had A windows restore the other day, since then i cant seem to install an nvidia geforce driver, its says that i dont have a compatible graphics hardware. tried installing from nvidia site and from asus site and nothing is working, same problem,in device manager i have the intel 4000 hd graphics and a second one, VGA Graphics adapter which has a yellow sign and is says the device cannot start (code 10).

I have an ASUS N56vz
CPU: Intel Core i7-3610QM

Try disabling the HD 4000 and see if that does anything. Right click on Intel HD 4000 and click Uninstall and try switching default GPU in BIOS to the GT650m (PCIe, Dedicated GPU)

I think you may have to either install all new drivers or send it in to ASUS.
