PSU passed paper clip test yet not working

Hi I am making a new build however when I plug on the power supply into the motherboard the fan doesn't go onI tried the paper clip test
And the fan turned on
I'm just confused as to what to next
Yes I'm new to this
 
It doesn't list that CPU as being supported. And if it does work with a BIOS update, you won't be able to do it with that CPU. You'll have to get a CPU that is supported and use that to update the BIOS. In short, the CPU you have now is useless until that update. You can try borrowing a supported chip from a family member or friend. Aside from that, you'll have to buy a new motherboard (cheapest route).

Not without power, not without a supported CPU, and unless you plan to use a flash drive, not without Internet access.



I already told you your options. There is NOTHING that you can do now with the parts that you have. You have to get access to a supported CPU, buy a supported CPU (a waste of money), or buy a new motherboard.

Lesson learned. Next time, make sure you check compatibility before purchasing. :)
