Synology 213j vs 214se

I'm looking to order a NAS for data storage at my in-laws house. If it's just for documents, photos, and music, does it matter? It needs to run an i-tunes server, but it seems both do. The 213j has 2x the ram and processor speed, but is older and costs more. They both run the same software, so which would be the better choice?

if its just for doc's and music it shouldn't matter. If you plan on having it be a Media server for streaming video in the future then go with the 213j. Must better performance.

What if I don't plan to use the NAS to be the media server, but it might have to give data (movie or music) to a PC to work with?
I can't imagine it makes a difference that way. DLNA server, sure, but just serving windows?

if its just a file server it doesn't really matter which one. But if you plan on streaming video to a device the other will be better
