Specs:
CPU i5 3570k
GIGABYTE GA-H77N-WIFI
Vengeance 8Gb Ram
450watt power supply
Windows 7
My sock CPU fan does spin on start up. The computer loads onto the login screen and afterwards I shut it down to prevent damage to the motherboard.
I replaced the stock cooler to see if that was the problem. I installed the Rosewill RCX-Z300 and I still have the same problem. This leads me to believe that the motherboard pins are damaged.
Is there a way to turn on the CPU cooler while not being connected to the motherboard?
